Yarragon is a small village in the Baw Baw Shire in West Gippsland. The town lies on the main Princes Highway and the railway line approximately halfway between the major towns of Warragul & Moe. Hills of the Strzelecki Ranges rise over 500 meters immediately to the south of the town providing a spectacular ruralbackdrop. Yarragon offers a friendly country town with an abundance of delightful shops and eateries to satisfy all desires from fresh and healthy to deliciously decadent and everything in between. Trafalgar is the next stop along the highway and is also positioned convienantly on the railway line. Trafalgar is another fabulous town offering both a primary school and secondary school, central shopping hub, supermarket, resturants, bars, and cafes. The town has a bowling club and local golf course and also caters for Football and Netball at the local Recreation Reserve. Trafalgar is a mixture of older homes and newer estates giving you a great choice.
Darnum is a peaceful township only 10km approx. past Warragul on the Princes Highway. Less is more in quiet spots like this with only the Darnum Primary School, the Darnum Tea Rooms & post office servicing this charming town.
